A Wish Come True

All Jason and Marisa really wanted was a reliable car with lots of room for creating great memories with their family. Toyota helped make that Wish come true.

A WISH COME TRUE

FOR JASON LIE AND HIS WIFE MARISA LOW, A SIMPLE SHOPPING CONUNDRUM LED THEM TO THE TOYOTA SHOWROOM AND DOWN A LONG ROAD OF GREAT MEMORIES WITH THEIR FAMILY.

Hi guys! That’s a good looking car, could you tell us more about it?
Jason (J): We’ve had the Wish for about six and a half years now and love how spacious and reliable it is!
Marisa (M): Yes, it’s a great car. I guess Toyota kind of runs in the family. My parents used to drive a Vios, then a Corolla Altis and now a Camry, you see. So I guess it’s only natural that the Wish caught my eye! (laughs)

Cool! Were there any other reasons that made you decide on the Wish?

J: Actually, before we got the Wish, we’d always wanted to be able to go to IKEA, buy some large furniture and transport these items back home ourselves – without ever needing to pay for delivery.
M: Needless to say, this was one of the first things we did the moment we got the Wish. Our bulky purchases fit in effortlessly!

Have you shared any interesting memories in the Wish?
J: We’ve shared so many. One of my favourite times of the year is Chinese New Year because it’s when three generations of the Lie family fit into the car, with all 7 seats occupied. There’s non-stop chatter all ride through as we drive around the island visiting relatives!

And how about your kids? Do they enjoy the Wish too?

J: They definitely do. In fact, we drove home two of our three kids from the hospital in the Wish. Their first journeys ever!
M: And as they’ve grown we’ve gone on road trips together. We recently took them to the Little Big Club in Johor. So we filled the Wish with our luggage, their toys, snacks, drinks and so much more. There was loads of banter, good music, and laughter all ride through.
J: …and scoldings, lectures, apologies…
M: (laughs) Well, I guess you could say it’s just family life played out on a long highway!

Although the Toyota Wish is no longer available, we're sure you'll love the spacious and fuel-efficient Prius+. Click here to find out more.
